Aging population : a challengeing issue

Aging population is the process by which the share of the older population becomes proportionally  larger.

This issue is growing perpetually in most of  developed countries.

Now population in higher age groups has increased due to increased life expectancy with a reduction in birth rates.

Most of  developed countries particularly  (G-7)  are worrying  about  human resource  because  they  are playing decisive contribution in their GDP. They allocated most of  share of GDP  for the security and welfare of old people which they treated old people unproductive.   Then how will they invested ample money for development and infrastructure. In coming next century  the  countries  like- European countries,  China, Japan, south-korea etc. Will contributed most of the share of old people world wide.

Whereas countries like - India and other south Asian countries will have  youth people which will drive the country at a par level if they  will posses professional skill.  But it is a big challenge  for countries particularly  India to make  them literate  and skill.

Issues faced by old people

* old people face lack of social                   security and often face abuse.                 challenge by their wards.

* In today generation their ward.             show ignorant behaviour                         towards  their parents.

* They often face lack of medical.             facilities  and  regular food  due  to.       they are unable to do  themselves         and their sons are  not paying much.     attention.

All these arises           due to weak financial status and     greedy will of their son .

* most of the their wards forced.              their meek parents to take                        asylum  or to live old people.                  orphanage.

* today's generation become more           unethical and not paying respect.           which ultimately resulted into                hampering their dignity.

* most of  prodigy students are.           pursuing for foreign countries.         for better education, job.                   packages  and better facilities of       infrastructure.all these led to.           brain drain and of course  by.           keeping their son away from.           parents situated in native.                 countries.

But, by observing it,               government implemented.                 stringent laws in  favour of  old.       people for their well  being and.       WHO also emphasized in dealing   all types of issues to concerned.        countries.

As a solution of all these.                   problems to  those countries.             which will become maximum          old  people  share in total.                  population, they emphasized in.      Information Technology because.    it requires only  skill  to  handle     and less physic strength. even   very  old  people can earn money   by providing services .

Many countries take lesson also   from china because of  "one child   policy" which significantly   contributing for the downfall of   China's total GDP I.e less   population growth .

In present scenario it depends on   all countries to manage   population  growth rates with   growing old people and to work   with in consonance with   international fora ,japan proved a   paradigm in handling old people   where all live in peaceful   environment and positive outlook.

Our great  scholar  truely said --                                       " There is a will there is a way"
